The Pantín beach was the scene this Wednesday, August 28, when the ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro started, with the competition in the Longboard mode, included in the World Longboard Championship Tour calendar, organized by the World Surf League.

On a first day marked by good conditions, a good show could be seen by the participants of the men’s group of the specialty, who played the first two rounds.

Among the highlights, we must mention the remarkable performance of the Spanish rider José Luis Berasaluce that allowed him to access the third round, after finishing second in his round 2 test, just behind the current leader of the competition, the American Justin Quintal.

Berasaluce won the right to compete in the ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro, after getting the ‘wildcard’ that was at stake in the Trials of Doniños held last Monday (August 26).
