1498 km of coastline filled with incredible places and world-class waves.
Pantín is a global reference in the surfing world that, since 1988, turns Pantín beach (Valdoviño) into the capital of this sport every summer, attracting the best surfers and thousands of enthusiasts.
Galicia, a surfing destination: The Pantín Classic started very modestly in a location with optimal natural conditions for surfing. Today, it’s one of the major events in this sport at the European and global level, which is a source of pride for the entire community.

WHEN IS THE PANTÍN CLASSIC GALICIA PRO HELD?
It's traditionally held at the end of August or beginning of September, although the dates may vary depending on the year.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR PANTÍN CLASSIC GALICIA PRO?
- For the main event WSL, you should register through the worldsurfleague website. You can access it by clicking on the “Participants” button.
- If you do not have access due to your ranking and you are Galician, you can obtain a WILDCARD in the TRIALS prior to the competition.
- ADAPTIVE SURFING. To register for the Adaptive Surf Championship, you can sign up via avaibook sport (a link will be enabled soon).

NEW LIFE
The New Life project aims to give continuity to the strategic lines that have been developed during the latest events, which are based on the premise of reducing environmental impact, advocating for selective collection and recycling, as much as possible, of the materials used for the construction of the venue where the events take place.
Classic Surf Pro, together with other institutions and sponsors, continues on a positive path towards minimizing the environmental impact in the area where it is held.
However, they also emphasize the guidelines to follow to improve in future editions, such as: estimating water consumption and wastewater production; hiring electric consumption using renewable energies; assessing CO2 emissions and other greenhouse gases related to transport used and promoting proper waste selection, among others.
We Sustainability – Cabreiroá Ecologic.
As part of the activities present at the World Surf League Spain events, Cabreiroá, along with the WE Sustainability platform and the organization, carry out various activations and actions to reduce the carbon footprint to the maximum, quantifying, separating, and cleaning the event’s waste to transform them into second lives. The aim is not only to reduce the carbon footprint but to improve the environment in which we live through beach cleanups, environmental activism workshops, talks, and waste transformation.
