Pantín shines with under-18 talent from Galicia and Portugal in the Celtic Circuit.

Teo Garcia, Diego Vieites, Isidro de la Cal, and Duarte Pantín stood on the podium alongside Daniela Alonso, Ana Piñón, and Elisa and Pepa González.

Pantín, Valdoviño, August 26.- The most important week of surfing in Ferrolterra kicked off in style this Monday, the 26th, with the Luso-Galician event as a prelude to the main WSL competition. It was the last of three events that make up the Celtic Youth Circuit, a joint initiative of the Surf Clube de Viana and the Galician Surf Federation.

Before arriving in Pantín—hosting the tournament for the first time—the initial phase of this under-18 championship took place in Portuguese waters on August 2, followed by a stop in Galicia, in Soesto, before heading up to Pantín (Valdoviño).

The heats held yesterday, as part of the 37th Abanca Pantin Classic Galicia Pro, took place between 9:00 AM and 7:30 PM, with strong winds and challenging conditions that brought out the best in the youngest surfers.

Teo García claimed first place on the podium, followed by Ferrol native Diego Vieites, Isidro de la Cal, and local surfer Duarte Pantín in fourth place. Among the girls, Daniela Alonso—also the winner of the Wildcard at the Galician Open—once again took the top spot, followed by Ana Piñón, Elisa González, and Pepa González.
