PUMPING CONDITIONS ON THE SECOND DAY OF CABREIROÁ JUNIOR PRO FERROL 2022

An incredible second day of competition at the CABREIROÁ JUNIOR PRO FERROL 2022 has come to an end. The wave conditions have been pumping, and kept up throughout the day, with the competitors giving their best.
 
In the men’s category, the third men’s round was completed, with France’s Sam Piter, Portugal’s Martim Nunes, and Germany’s Tim Elter in the lead with a total of 14.17, 12.73, and 12.00, respectively.
 
Then it was the turn of the women’s category. Canarian surfers Daniela Boldini and Lucía Machado got two of the top scores in their category. Daniela Boldini also got the top wave of the afternoon with a score of 8.83 out of 10. “The great conditions have helped a lot, I’m very happy and I’m going all out for the next rounds,” she said.
 
The Basque Janire González Etxabarri, who returns to Doniños ready to fight to defend her title, also stood out. She finished her first heat with the highest total score in her category, with 14.77, and said that “finally we have a championship with good waves, and we have come here to enjoy, have fun and defend the title”.
 
This second day of competition in the World Junior Tour event of the World Surf League (WSL) has left no one indifferent and ends the day with spectacular images.
 
Tomorrow will begin the third day of the competition from 8:00 a.m.
