THE CABREIROÁ JUNIOR PRO FERROL 2022 STRENGTHENS IN ITS SECOND EDITION

Doniños beach hosted from May 9 to 14, the second edition of the CABREIROÁ JUNIOR PRO FERROL 2022, during a week where the sun and the waves did not leave the coast of Ferrol.
 
Junior surfers from around the world gathered on the Galician coast to compete for the title of champions of the World Junior Tour event of the World Surf League (WSL). More than 200 surfers of 15 different nationalities participated in the event, in both male and female categories.
 
But the great protagonists were the champions, the Tahitian Aelan Vaast and the Basque Yago Domínguez. They started the race standing out, and remained in the lead until the final, where they beat the Basque Janire González Etxabarri and the French Noa Dupouy.
 
Both champions emphasized that, without a doubt, the spectacular wave conditions they were able to enjoy during the week of the competition were a great help to give their best and win the title.
 
Also present at the event were the young promises Lucía MachadoKeoni LasaJuliette LacomeMoisés RasinesAnnette González Etxabarri and Sam Piter.
 
For the second consecutive year, the CABREIROÁ JUNIOR PRO FERROL 2022 is positioned as a catalyst for tourism and sport, demonstrating that Galicia continues to be a preferred destination, and acting in the same way, a promoter of sport among the younger generations.
