The elite of international surfing arrives from June 25 to 29 with a unique event that combines sports, music, environment, and urban culture.
As Cabazas will be a surf party: five days of adrenaline, water spectacle, and unforgettable experiences: international surf championship, concerts, food trucks, market area, surf and skate initiations, and a skate championship with cash prizes.

This year’s big new feature is the championship’s qualitative leap by including a stage of the world circuit Junior WSL JQS 1,000, which will join the already traditional international Longboard LQS 1,000 competition — the most classic and elegant surfing style.
In addition to these two international events, there will also be Galician trials, where local athletes will have the chance to win coveted wildcards (2 men and 2 women), granting them direct access to the main competition with the world’s best.

The “Gadis Surf Festival Ferrol” coincides with the reopening of the Camping As Cabazas, located nearby.

In the last edition, several thousand people attended this event, which goes far beyond the competition itself.

– Live concerts featuring artists and bands that will set the rhythm for the stunning sunset at this location. A highlight is the anticipated performance of Smile, the indie rock band from Getxo known for bringing a true party atmosphere to all their shows.

– Gastronomic offerings at the food truck zone.

– Free surf and skate initiations for those wanting to try out these sports with specialized instructors.

– And as a major highlight, a Skate Championship attracting riders from across the region, with cash prizes and high-level exhibitions.
