The competition began in the third day of the ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro, with the dispute of round three of the women’s Longboard group. The appointment is being played at the beach of Pantín (Valdoviño, Ferrolterra, province of A Coruña), belonging to the World Longboard Championship Tour circuit.
The Brazilian Chloe Calmon achieved her pass to the quarter-finals with a score of 12.33, after beating in her duel before the revelation of the test, Ophelie Ah-Kouen (Reunion Island), who accumulated a 7.90.
Similarly, French Zoe Grospison (9,00 points) won in her duel against Hawaiian Sally Cohen (7.26); while in the third round of the day, Australian Emily Lethbridge (8.94 points) won her compatriot Jully White (7.80 points).
The French Justine Dupont did not have anything easy in her match with the American Soleil Errico, which she won by a score of 11.27 points against the 11.16 of Errico.
In the fifth test, the American Avalon Gall got her pass to the next round, after beating the Hawaiian Kirra Seale (13.74-10.10 points).
There are still three tests left to finish the third round of the women’s competition, after which the round of sixteen of the men’s group will begin.
