ABANCA PANTÍN CLASSIC GALICIA PRO 2020 begins tomorrow at 08:00 a.m.
Today it ends with the awards of ABANCA ADAPTIVE SURF, which was held today at Pantín.
Competitors Efren Mompean (MURCIA), Marta Paço (PORTUGAL), Andrés Campos (MADRID), Ander Goenaga (BASQUE COUNTRY), Angel Curiel (VALLADOLID), Hugo Madruga (PORTUGAL), Lucas Borges (PORTUGAL) y Tomas Freitas (PORTUGAL) thanked their companion for their attendance and company, and also the organization for their welcome. They highlighted their wish to participate in more events in the future as to continue cheering people to enjoy sports and especially, surf.
Besides, Marcos Tapia, Alvin Bayona and Cristian Alonso, surfers from the national adaptive surfing team, spotlighted for both their performance and collaboration with the organization for the event development.
The awards were given by Alberto González, mayor of Valdoviño who standed out the optimism everyone kept regarding the event. Besides, he agreed with the fact that due to the security norms applied the event has been a great success and an opportunity to make Adaptive Surfing spotlight. With similar opinion, Raúl Rodríguez, in representation of ABANCA, who added the great impulse ABANCA PANTÍN CLASSIC GALICIA PRO 2020 means for Valdoviño, regarding economy and tourism.
Sara de Santos, in representation of Secretos del Agua and Javier, from Core Surfing, emphasized the great impression of seeing such atletes compiting.
Also there, Marcos Rodríguez, director of the event, who told the hope for this event to be preceding in order to make Adaptive Surfing spotlight.
Tomorrow, ABANCA PANTÍN CLASSIC GALICIA PRO 2020 begins with Call at 08:00 a.m. for both male and female categories.
