The quarter-finals of the men’s category of the Lonbgoard competition are presented as exciting in the ABANCA Galicia Classic Surf Pro, belonging to the World Longboard Championship Tour calendar, that are being developed in the beach of Pantín, (Valdoviño, Ferrolterra, province of A Coruña).
The duels between Harrison Roach (Australia) and Edouard Delpero (France), as well as the one that will measure the Hawaiian Kaniela Stewart and the American Jason Quintal, are a priori the most attractive of this round.
Roach, third in the World Cup classification, won against Peruvian Lucas Garrido (13.10-9.93), while Delpero (ninth) did the same against American Tony Silvagni (fifth place) (13.03-10.65).
For his part, Kaniela Stewart was the winner in his test against the third head of the series, Tony Jenses (United States), demonstrating that he has arrived in a great state of form to the Galician appointment (13.00-10.47).
The World Cup leader, Justin Quintal, cut the upward trajectory of the Spanish José Luis Berasaluce, who had become the revelation in the previous two days (11.20-10.47).
Another of the riders that is offering a great version is the Brazilian Jefson Silva, who is advancing in the competition at the expense of his compatriot Gabriel Nascimiento (13.57-8.56).
The other surprise of the day was the one given by the Australian Jack Entwistle when he finished first in his test against Antoine Delpero (France), to whom he took the step at the last minute (12.96-12.00).
In the final test, the Japanese Taka Inoue won over Cole Robbins (United States) for a cumulative score from 13.17 to 12.64.
From 16:30 hours approximately, the tests corresponding to the quarter-finals of the women’s competition are being played.
